We were just going to stay one night but stayed two! Lovely little motel in the heart of town very quiet clean and well appointed. Lovely place to stay if your looking for some where quiet away from the bigger towns of Orange and Bathurst.

We received the most friendly welcome and great suggestions for wine tasting and pre dinner drinks on arrival at this motel. Our room was even ready for us at 1pm. The room was spacious, very comfortable and even had a well equipped kitchenette. The king sized bed gave us a fantastic sleep. The rain shower was wonderful but the bathroom. A great place to stay in country NSW.

Loved our stay in Millthorpe. The staff were really friendly and the rooms were clean, modern and spacious. Situated right in the middle of town so we could walk everywhere. I would definitely recommend staying here in the historic town of millthorpe

We read the reviews on Trip Advisor before booking this motel on our way to the Elvis Festival in Parkes. A hidden gem for a weekend getaway. Fantastic, friendly staff who did not hesitate to recommend other local businesses to visit on our stay. Great size room that was clean and spacious with a comfy bed. The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. Have reccommended to our friends and will not hesitate to stay again.

We recently stayed at the Millthorpe Motel which is a beautiful little gem of a place to stay. The motel is located in the heart of Millthorpe. You have the ability to walk anywhere for its location. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are excellent, very clean, well designed. There is a small kitchenette that allows you cook small meals. A laundry on site is always great. Extremely well priced. Check it out we will be back

We booked one night here on our winery trip to Orange due to its location near Tonic Restaurant. We were disappointed that we didn’t book longer! The room was the perfect size for the both of us and well laid out - accessible bathroom; clearly separate areas for dining, lounge and bed. It looked like a hotel room, instead of a typical motel style room. It was immaculately clean, air-conditioner unit was more than adequate for the chilly morning and with rooms away from the road, it was incredibly quiet. There was a mini-bar of local treats and an evening drinks lounge which was available to us, but we didn’t take up those offers (due to timing). Being 20 minutes from Orange, we have decided that this will be our base for a next winery trip. I was a bit skeptical about booking because it was over the phone, but signing in and out was a breeze and definitely not worth the worry.

Perfect!!
Fabulous comfortable and warm!! Important when it's minus2 outside. We loved The Motel right in the centre of the village you can walk everywhere anyway as the village isn't big. Would recommend for families or couples . We stayed in a 4 bed lodge massive king bed upstairs and a sofa bed down stairs. Very comfy beds even the sofa bed was a hit with our 19 year old daughter. The bathroom was very well appointed huge bath and double shower. As it was so cold outside the condensation was a bit of an issue with three of us made for a wet floor but a minor issue. We just put a towel down to walk on. Loved our stay thank you

Couldn't ask for more!
Reviewed 3 August 2015 Super happy with our choice - and great value! We needed to make a last minute dash to see family and stayed here. The location is right in the middle of town, easy 2minute walking distance to all the cafes, restaurants! Perfect! The rooms we stayed were new builds (couldn't be more than a few years old). Unlike other reviewers we had a really large room, plenty of room for our travel cot, and a little couch table and kitchenette which is super handy when travelling with young ones. Fresh milk in the fridge and very accommodating attentive service. Yes, and good reverse cycle heating kept us warm when it snowed!
Being motel style accommodation it isn't designed with some of the character and intimacy of the B&B accommodation, but overall, I thought it was great value, and a great find. (accommodation around orange and Millthorpe generally seems ridiculously over priced to me!
